What should I check before booking duct cleaning for a smell?＋
Clean or replace the filter and check the drain tray isn't holding water. If the smell continues, duct cleaning or a Full AC Unit Clean may help — we can advise after seeing photos.
Will sanitisation alone remove the smell?＋
Usually not. Dust and debris need to be removed mechanically first; sanitising over them is less effective.
What if the smell is coming from the AC unit, not the ducts?＋
